By most accounts, the Raiders should’ve won. They lost, but not only did the team lose the game on the field, it could be argued that Coach Pierce lost an opportunity to demonstrate leadership and communication skills during the press conference.
The following Saturday, September 28, the University of Georgia played University of Alabama in college football. It was a tough and well played game, which Georgia Bulldogs lost. In this defeat, the Georgia head coach, Kirby Smart, demonstrated poise, maturity, and leadership when discussing the game, his players and their opponents.
